History

The company

Established in 1990 by Russell Crawford, Compressed Air Controls Ltd was setup to supply and service a vast range of pneumatic equipment offered by Mac Valves Pacific. Over the years we have increased our product and service range to include more high quality products to benefit our customer’s needs

Based in Palmerston North we cover an area from National Park to Wellington and Wanganui to Norsewood. 

What we do

Compressed Air Controls Ltd has two distinct areas of work which compliment each other

• Industrial pneumatics 
• Industrial air compressors and equipment

Actively involved in both of these areas, we market high quality competitive product ranges to meet most requirements of our customers.

With all the products we sell, we also offer on going support for parts, maintenance and installation from our service department.  This allows our customers to have one company to deal with for a sales, support, service, site maintenance or projects when they require quality solutions for their environment.

We are constantly active with projects for our customers, which can be from specifying a kicker cylinder to designing complete systems to meet production requirements or even upgrading/modifying existing plant to meet new specifications.

Many of our existing customers rely on us to provide the complete range of services including advice on how, when or where a solution will happen.

Our Suppliers, both New Zealand and overseas, are an integral part of the support that we offer to our customers. We have built up honest relationships and regularly have our suppliers visit our customers with us to see their products and how we have used them in industry applications. 

The Team

Incorporated within our team of 8 strong, we have three experienced service engineers who cover the area commissioning, maintaining and servicing both our own products and also our competitor’s products.

Within the sales team we have three sales staff that covers the lower north island working from our purpose built database system to track calls quotes and due visits.

Our technical consulting team is experienced in package design and consultation.  Some projects in the past have included the design and build of automation projects for bottling plants, steel fabrication plants, bus design companies, packaging plants, injection moulders, rock quarries and so much more.

This is backed up with support from our inside sales team who respond to our customers requests and details for applications on behalf of their local area sales person. The inside sales team also look after all sales and enquiries – all through the area sales staff, fax, email, web and walk in customers.

To assist with the smooth running of the company, working along side our business manager is a full time office manger and part time service coordinator who look after all the communication, paperwork and coordination of both accounts and service work.
